Prof. Fatusi

Adesegun Fatusi is a Public Health Physician and Professor of Public Health and Community Medicine at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria (OAU), where he is also currently the Provost of the College of Health Sciences.
He previously served as the Director of OAU’s Institute of Public Health and National Reproductive Health Adviser with United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA)’s programme in Nigeria. He is the foundation President of the Society for Adolescent and Young People’s Health in Nigeria (SAYPHIN), Chair of Nigeria’s National Adolescent Health and Development Working Group, and member of the National Technical Working Group on Reproductive Health. He is also a member of the Lancet Commission on Adolescent Health and Well-being. His major areas of focus include sexual and reproductive health of young people and public health policy and leadership.
